Employee Benefits:
Employee retention is always a top priority for any business. However, most benefit packages are quite often not available to temporary workers. Clover is constantly looking for ways to ensure that its temporary employees have as many benefits as possible while working through Clover. These options include prompt, accurate responses to their inquires and 24/7 access to secure personal payroll information via the internet. Some of the more traditional benefits we offer are listed below:
  • Direct Deposit - Employees can choose to have their pay deposited directly into their bank. This option ensures that the temps are paid consistently and on-time. Many of today's banks also offer incentives to their customers should they choose to have their paycheck direct deposited into their account.
  • Cash Pay Card - For those who do not have a bank account or choose not to utilize it for direct deposit of paychecks, we provide Cash Pay cards via MasterCard. Their pay will be deposited onto their card which they can then use anywhere MasterCard is accepted or can simply take the card to any ATM and withdraw their pay. The card provides free on-line access to check balances, make transfers and review purchases. They also have the option to load additional money onto the card at any time.
  • AFLAC - All employees are eligible to elect coverage through AFLAC with no waiting period. These policies include Accident, Life, Disability, Hospital, Cancer, Dental and Vision coverage. The premiums are deducted from their paychecks and can be kept after their employment with Clover ends.
  • Assurant - All employees are eligible for major medical coverage through Assurant Insurance. These policies are also portable which means that the employee can keep the policy after their assignment ends as long as they continue to pay the premiums.
  • On-Line Account Access - Once an employee receives their first paycheck, they will be issued a personal log-in ID and password that will give them on-line access to check stubs, YTD information and year-end W-2s.
  • Free Amegy Banking - For employees living in Texas, Amegy Bank provides free interest bearing savings and checking accounts to any employees electing to sign up for Direct Deposit. Amegy also offers many other services for free or at a reduced rate to our temps.
Funding/Insurance:
All things aside, funding is quite often the most important hurdle you face, as well as the most difficult to secure. Clover provides interim payroll funding to meet payroll and tax payment deadlines until your client pays the invoice. We also understand that client payment terms can vary widely and can adversely affect your profit margin. This is why Clover is one of the few providers that does not charge any additional fees for extended funding. Our fees remain the same whether the client pays in 9 days or 90!

HR Management:
We understand that time is money and as a professional, your time is your most valuable asset. By electing to outsource your payroll with Clover, you are able to focus your time elsewhere and leave the HR management to us. We can handle items such as fielding payroll and billing related questions and requests quickly and efficiently providing excellent customer service to your temps and your clients alike.
